As a mother and a writer my energy is always shifting-sometimes jarringly- between the logistical, the emotional, and the cerebral. 

I write about motherhood, and when my thoughts become tangled and unwieldy, I ground myself in craft, making things with flowers and thread.

I live and work and saunter through New York City, usually with a bar of dark chocolate in my bag.
